Welcome to The Claremont RSL 

The Claremont RSL is not only a meeting place for returned and ex-service men and women and their families and friends, it is an integral part of the Claremont community. The club is open 7 days a week – members and visitors are always welcome.

Looking for somewhere to share dinner with family or friends on a Thursday night? Come along to the RSL between 6.00 pm and 8.00 pm and enjoy a meal from a fine selection prepared by our resident chef.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to be a member of the RSL to get in?

    Although we are a private members organisation, visitors and non-members are always welcome. Visitors and non-members are subject to our rules and upon entry will need to sign the Visitors Register to satisfy the requirements of the Licensing Act.


  • Do you serve food?

    Yes we do. We provide bar meals on Wednesday evenings, bar and bistro meals Thursday evenings and bar and bistro lunches on Fridays.

  • Is Snooker or 8-Ball played at Claremont RSL?

    Unless competitions are being held, we have a number of 8-Ball and snooker tables available for member use during opening hours.

  • Are darts played at Claremont RSL?

    When in session, competition darts are played on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

  • Do you play live music?

    Yes, we regularly have live music in the Gallipoli room on Friday nights.
